Question: What point do you get rid of your grown children toys form childhood?

My daughter is 22, graduated from college, yet I can't seem to throw away her childhood toys, books, etc. It is as though I am throwing away her past. Any suggestions? |

I would suggest that you continue to keep them... they are all keepsake items and maybe one day when your daughter have children, you or her can share them with your grandchildren. My mother kept all of my items and now I share them with my children. So, keep them... it is wonderful to look back on... I am glad my mother kept mine and I will do the same with my children items when they are all grown up. |

She may want some of her childhood things for her own kids...talk to her first before you get rid of stuff. |

I have kept alot of my things but the things I didn't keep I gave to St Vincent De Paul which is an Op shop in Australia. That way someone elses child can get the fun outta the toys like ur daughter did as a child. |
